Ég legg til nafnið Ingólfsbrú. Nafnið vísar til upphafs byggðar og frumkvæðis í sögu landsins. Ný brú yfir Ölfusá markar nýtt upphaf í samgöngum á svæðinu og endurspeglar áræði og framtíðarsýn. Nafnið er stutt, sterkt og tímalaust.
